My Daughter, Take My Hand to be Equipped for Every Good Work
2Timothy 3:16,17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Psalm 147:11 The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.
Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
1Peter 1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1Corinthians 2:16 For "WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM?" But we have the mind of Christ.
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always prepare me for the work You have called me to do.
To see yourself able to do what God has called you to do you must be willing to see yourself as worthy of the calling and then agree to obey His calling.
When you say yes, God will start to show you why you are equipped to do what He has called you to do.
He will have you look back to see how He has been preparing you all along. You have everything you need to start what He has called you to do.
He will remind you that you are not alone. You have the indwelling of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
As you sit with Him and listen to His loving directions you will start to see yourself as not just doing an assignment but receiving the desires of your heart. You have been made for what He is calling you to do. You have already been equipped to start. Your willingness to continue to follow His leading will bring fruitfulness to your assignment and allow you to finish well.
You will find the lessons that you will learn in one good work will be useful in the next good work He has for you.
And finally the biggest blessing you will come to realize is that you have grown in your intimacy with God and that was what He wanted all along.
God is equipping you for your good work my Daughter, so anticipate what God has for you from Ephesians 2:10:
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
