Be Longsuffering

My Daughter, Take My Hand, and Be Longsuffering
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is…longsuffering…. Against such there is no law.
Ephesians 4:1-3 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:7,8 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Isaiah 65:24 "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
2Peter 3:8,9 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
James 1:2,3 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Proverbs 3:7,8 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always help me to wait.
Jesus calls us blessed if we have a heart attitude guided by longsuffering. There is a divine connection between longsuffering, time, waiting, and trust. With each prayer to God, He wants you to trust Him no matter how much time passes, or how much waiting you must do or how much longsuffering you must endure.
When you pray for a need in your life, you have an expectation that the answer should come immediately. Sometimes the answer “you want” comes immediately. When this happens, you must guard your heart not to be discouraged if God chooses to answer a different way the next time you pray. So, trusting God is the only way to wait for His answer.
If we are honest with ourselves, we do not like to wait. When we do not receive the answer we want, we come to conclusions about God that are usually not true. We decide since God has not answered the way we expect Him to, we stop praying and work it out ourselves. That weakens our trust in Him.
The only way to display longsuffering is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit moment by moment, thought by thought, and word by word. Talk to the Lord, He will answer you every time. The answer is coming. Wait for it with expectation.
Sometimes, my Daughter, God tells you to wait for His appointed time.
In Habakkuk 2:2,3 God told Habakkuk to wait with these words:
Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
