My Daughter, Take My Hand, and Be Loving
Galatians 5:22,23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love,…Against such there is no law.
Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Jude 1:20,21 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jesus’ words in John 3:16,17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
Ephesians 3:17-19 . . . that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Philemon 1:5,6 . . . hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
1John 4:7-9 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Jesus’ words in John 15:12,13 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always help me to accept His love and then to love others.
God’s love for you is sacrificial. The greatest act of love shown to you by your Heavenly Father was sending His Son Jesus Christ to you. The greatest act of love shown to you by Jesus Christ was laying down His life in divine exchange for your eternal salvation. The greatest act of love shown to you by the Holy Spirit is to continually produce fruit in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Your response to God’s love is to love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind and to love others with the love you have for yourself.
You may love God, but your heart’s devotion at times may be divided between Him and the lies of this world. Loving God, in the way He deserves would be impossible without the cleansing of your sin through Jesus Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit’s counsel.
The same is true for loving others and yourself. If your heart has not accepted and treasured His love for yourself, you will believe every lie of the enemy, especially unforgiveness. When you reject these lies, all His love will flow in and out of you freely,
God’s love is perfect and totally unique. As people, we try to love as God loves. Sometimes we can and other times we fall short. Every verse in the Bible describes God’s love.
1John 4:16 helps you to believe and accept His love for you, my Daughter.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
