My Daughter, Take My Hand, I Am Your Helper

Hebrews 13:6   So we may boldly say: "THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?"

Psalm 54:4   Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.

Isaiah 41:10    Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Deuteronomy 31:6   Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Jesus' words in John 14:26    But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Psalm 121:2   My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

2Timothy 1:7   For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Philippians 4:6,7   Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Isaiah 41:13   For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'

Jesus' words in John 15:5   "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Romans 15:13   Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank You, Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always help me.

Are you one of those people who can’t or will not ask for help when you need it?  Is it a trust issue that says I do not trust anybody because I have been hurt in the past?  Is it a control issue that says I would rather do it myself because I know best?  Is it because you just forget to ask God for help? Whatever the issue is, God has been left out of the solution entirely.

There is nothing wrong with receiving advice from a friend if that advice prayerfully agrees with the Holy Spirit.  God tells us when two or more are gathered in His name, He is there as well.  He is our Helper so when He reveals His help, we can be assured it is the right way to go.

If you go to Him for help and He tells you to trust Him by being still and to wait, keep praying. If you go to Him and He gives you specific instructions, just obey. Obedience is always the key to accepting His help.

For a long while now when I have asked Him for specific directions, He has answered me with, “Trust Me.”  Things have changed this week.  Now when I ask the same question, His answer is “Patience.”  I think my Heavenly Father is saying that He is pleased with my faith and now He wants me to stand firm in faith and develop patience.  Oh my.  Come Lord Jesus come, I need Your help.

The truth is you could never see the whole picture like He does.  Since you cannot know how to bring good from all situations like He can, why should you not trust Him and accept His help?

God is your Helper so believe Psalm 146:3-5, My Daughter if you need His help:

Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the LORD his God,
