My Daughter, Take My Hand and Live by Faith
Romans 1:16,17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Hebrews 10:21,22 and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be the foundation of my faith.
Our faith is a gift of God that is motivated by His love and sufficient for our life. He is not a respecter of persons, so He has given us all the same measure of faith to believe in His goodness, to forgive every sin, and heal every disease.
As Jesus went about healing, He connected faith in Him to healing. In Matthew 9:29 when Jesus healed two blind men, He said to them, "According to your faith let it be to you." In fact, faith was the common element in every healing Jesus did.
Faith is how we overcome the enemy, who is the author of all sickness and sin. He will try to use constant physical illness or habitual sin to distract our faith. In those cases, we must remember that it is not by our willpower, but by our faith in the power of God that brings victory.
Faith is not passive. When we believe, we are motivated to action. We trust Him with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. We keep our focus on Him. When we cannot see what God is doing, we must rest in the fact that Jesus has already provided our healing 2,000 years ago and, with our faith, we believe it is here and it is being manifested in us as well. Our lives must reflect our faith.
God is Faithful, my Daughter, and speak 1John 5:4,5 to see yourself as an overcomer:
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
