My Daughter, Take My Hand, I Am Love
1John 4:7-9 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Jesus said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus said in John 15:13,14 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
1John 3:16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1John 4:15,16 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
1John 4:17,18 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
1John 2:5,6 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
1John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Song of Solomon 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, And his banner over me was love.
Thank You, Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always cover me with love.
When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, we find His answer in Matthew 22:37-39
Jesus said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
With every one of God’s commandments, the choice to obey or not to obey is always yours. In a way, love is no different. To love others or to be someone others can love is always your choice. However, it may not always be possible. God tell us in Romans 12:18 that If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. He is cautioning you that being at peace with others, especially in a loving way, may not always be possible. Try to be someone others can love, even those who choose not to.
To help you make the right choice, God tells you to start with your relationship with Him.
You are directed to use every one of your thoughts, your words and deeds to love Him. When you first love God and receive His love in your heart, then you will be able to use the model of His love to love others and yourself.
The greatest manifestation of the Father’s love is when He sent His Son Jesus Christ to provide the only way for you to be with Him forever.
Through His Son Jesus Christ, the love of the Father is and always will be unconditional, sacrificial, never ending, and free.
By His grace, you can make a sincere one-time decision for salvation. Then He shows you how to make those moment-by-moment decisions every day to receive His love. When you do, the Bible tells you that you are being perfected in His love.
As you speak His words in Ephesians 1:3-6 let them tell your heart how deep His love is for you:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
So my Daughter, God’s Love is perfecting you, so lift your hand in praise to Him and He will take your hand and never let go.
