My Daughter, Take My Hand: I Am Love

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

1John 4:7-9

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

John 15:13-14 

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1John 3:16 

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

1John 4:15, 16

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

1John 4:17,18

But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Thank You Heavenly Father for Loving Me.

Heavenly Father, Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always cover me.

The greatest manifestation of the Father’s love is when He sent His Son Jesus Christ to provide the only way for us to be with Him forever.

Because of our sin nature we could not get there on our own merits.  In His love for His Father and for us, Jesus took our sins on Himself and took the penalty for our sins with His own life. That opened a way for us to be with God here on earth as well as with Him in heaven forever.

Through His Son Jesus Christ, the love of the Father is and always will be unconditional, sacrificial, never ending, and free.

To accept His love is our choice.  By His grace we make this sincere one-time decision for salvation.  Then it’s up to us to make a thought-by-thought decision to receive His love and follow His way.  When you do, Scripture tells us that we are being perfected in His love. 

Perfected love is the love of God expressing itself in our love for Him, ourselves and others.  And there is no fear in receiving that love or in giving that love away.

God’s Love is perfecting you, so reach out your hand to Him, He will take your hand and never let go.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
