My Daughter, Take My Hand and Pray in the Name of Jesus

Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Jesus said in Mark 16:17,18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Jesus said in John 16:23,24 And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

1John 5:14,15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

Luke 10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

John 1:12,13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Thank You Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will be the power in my prayers.

When you pray and ask in Jesus’ name you are acknowledging His Lordship in creation as well as your life. You are not just saying the words, but you are professing a heartfelt belief that you are praying to Jesus and that He hears your prayer and is answering your prayer.

Jesus came to show you the way to the Father in prayer. If you look in the Bible, you will see that Jesus often went off to a solitary place and prayed to the Father. You should do the same, my Daughter. Find a quiet place and time to talk to God.

Jesus also taught His disciples to pray. He taught them by example first. Then they came and asked Jesus to teach them to pray. He gave them a model prayer in the Lord’s Prayer and demonstrated praying for those who needed healing and deliverance.

When the disciples were ready, Jesus called them and gave them power and authority to do what He did. They went out and healed the sick, drove out demons and proclaimed the kingdom of God.

It is important to remember that they were not to take a staff, a bag, bread, money, or a second cloak.

They were not going to need those things. All they were going to need was Jesus’ power and authority.

Jesus is sending you out to pray my Daughter in His name and all you will need is His power and authority.

When you do, Jesus makes a promise to you in John 14:12-14:

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
