My Daughter, Take My Hand to Pray Without Ceasing

1Thessalonians 5:17,18 Pray without ceasing … for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Psalm 66:19,20 But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!

Jesus said in John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Ephesians 6:18 . . . praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints . . .

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

James 1:5,6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:7,8 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

Jesus said in Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Jesus said in Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Thank You Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always lead me to continue in prayer.

Have you been praying for something for years? Have you given up hope because you have not seen an answer?

Take a lesson from the life of George Muller (1805-1898) who was called by God to care for the orphans living on the streets in England.

As a result of his life of continual prayer, he was able to open five orphanages that housed more than 120,000 children. He did all of this without soliciting one donation. He took all his needs to God in prayer and believed God was going to answer.

Of his prayer life, Muller said, “I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk about, when I lie down and when I rise up. And the answers are always coming. Thousands and tens of thousands of times have my prayers been answered. When once I am persuaded that a thing is right and for the glory of God, I go on praying for it until the answer comes.”

George Muller prayed with faith. He walked by faith and not by sight. One night he went to bed knowing that he would not have any food for the children’s breakfast. The next morning, he went to the dining room and prayed. Within minutes there was a knock at the door. It was the baker with enough bread for all the children. In the middle of the night the Lord woke the baker up and told him to provide enough bread for all the children.

My Daughter, pray Hebrews 10:23 knowing that God will always answer your prayer;

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
