Receive My Power

My Daughter, Take My Hand, and Receive My Power
Jesus’ words in Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Jesus’ words in John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Jesus’ words in John 16:13,14 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
Jesus’ words in John 16:7,8 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter)* will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Jesus’ words in John 14:15-17 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Jesus’ words in John 15:26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be in me.
As your Helper, you can trust that you will never be alone. He is with you and in you. He will provide all you need to lead a victorious Godly life here and forever.
As your Comforter, His truth will always give you His peace and strengthen your relationship with your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
As your Spirit of truth, even though you may not understand fully, He promises that you can know His truth and that will be enough for you to trust God. When you know His truth, that truth will set you free.
As your Intercessor, He will pray the Father’s best for you and help you to see and pray God’s best for yourself and others.
As He convicts you of your sin, He does it out of His love. He does not condemn you but show you the truth about sin. When He does, He always shows you a way out. The way out is through obedience.
To posture yourself to receive truth, aggressively resist pride and fear which can limit you from hearing the Holy Spirit. Then give Him permission to help, comfort and convict you with His truth. Then sit back, welcome Him in and listen.
The power of the Holy Spirit refers to the divine energy and authority from God that enables you to live according to His will, perform miracles, and spread the gospel. This power is described in the Bible as the same force that raised Jesus from the dead and empowers you for ministry and transformation.
Romans 8:9-11 describes your life in the Holy Spirit, my Daughter, so believe it and embrace it:
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
