My Daughter, Take My Hand You Have Received Dunamis Power

Luke 9:1,2 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them (Dunamis) power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

1Corinthians 6:14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His (Dunamis) power.

2Peter 1:2,3 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine (Dunamis) power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

Philippians 3:9,10 . . . and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the (Dunamis) power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own (Dunamis) ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

Thank You Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ, and the Dunamis power of Your Holy Spirit will always empower me to be who you created me to be.

Jesus spoke a parable in Matthew 25 that describes a lord who is going away and leaves three of his servants different amounts of money according to their individual abilities. Jesus describes their ability as Dunamis ability.

It is interesting to note that the lord does not tell the servants what to do with the money. As the story unfolds, you see the servant who was given five talents trade them and makes five more talents. The servant who was given two talents gained two more talents. The third servant who was given one talent buried it in the ground.

When the lord returns, he finds the two servants used their talents wisely and yielded a return. Even though their amounts were different, the lord said the same thing to both. He said: 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

Then the third servant came to the lord and admitted that it was out of fear of the lord that he hid his talent in the ground.

The two servants that used their talents and received a return did it with Dunamis power. The third servant was also given Dunamis power, but did not use it in his life.

Every parable Jesus spoke can be applied to your life.

You are unique, my Daughter. You are one of a kind, who has been lovingly created by God. You have been given specific gifts and talents to live out your God-given purpose for your life.

It is important that you do not let lies like fear, unworthiness, or comparison stop you from living out your God-given identity.

I find it interesting that Jesus said the end of a thing would result in “Joy”. You will have joy knowing that you were doing what you were always created to do.

God has given you Dunamis power, my Daughter, so use your gifts and talents expecting God to do more than you can imagine with them.

And then listen to hear the same words spoken to the two servants in Matthew 25:23:

'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
