My Daughter, Take My Hand, and Be Faithful

Galatians 5:22,23 But the fruit of the Spirit is… faithfulness. Against such there is no law.

Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

2Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.

Romans 5:1,2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 10:8,9 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

1Peter 1:6-9 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Hebrews 12:2 . . . looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1Thessalonians 5:23,24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Thank You Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always help me to walk by faith.

The only way to walk by faith is to keep your spiritual eyes on Jesus while you are physically looking at life’s circumstances. With Jesus, you have enough faith to face any trial that comes into your life. Look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith and remember how He led many people in the Bible to walk by faith and He leads you.

David was anointed king by the prophet Samuel while Saul was still king. Because of David’s faith in God’s will for his life, David was able to endure many years of life-threatening attacks. God’s will came to pass when David became king about 15 years later.

Daniel was faithful to God and to King Darius during his captivity in Babylon. Because of his unwavering faith in God, jealous people brought false charges against him that resulted in Daniel being thrown in a lion’s den. God’s will came to pass when He shut the mouths of the lions, delivered Daniel and restored Daniel’s favor with the king.

Peter had enough faith to step out of a boat onto a tumultuous sea and walk to Jesus. After Peter took a few steps, he looked down at the fierceness of the waves and began to sink. God’s will came to pass as Jesus rescued Peter and strengthened the disciples’ faith in Him as Messiah.

God gave each of these people the gift of faith to live a victorious life. He has offered that for each person today.

God has done the same for you, my Daughter.

Listen to Lamentations 3:22,23 and let God’s Word strengthen your faith in a Faithful God who is with you forever.

Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
