I Am Your Shoes of Peace

My Daughter, Take My Hand, I Am Your Shoes of Peace
Ephesians 6:11,15 Put on the whole armor of God…. Stand therefore…having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Psalm 4:8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Luke 1:78,79 Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Jesus said in Matthew 10:12-14 And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.
Romans 12:17,18 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
Jesus said in John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Thank You Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always bring me Your peace.
In Isaiah 9, Jesus Christ was revealed to us as the Prince of Peace. When we accept His gift of salvation through the cross, He brings us into permanent spiritual peace with God. He wants us to be confident that He is our peace and that He is ready to share His peace with us abundantly.
It is interesting that He equips our feet with shoes of the gospel of peace. Physical shoes are necessary for our walking. They offer protection and stability. They enable us to go where He sends us.
Jesus is our spiritual shoes of the gospel of peace so we can know that nothing will ever change between us and God. We are and always will be His child. All of our sins were forgiven and all of our diseases were healed.
Jesus provides our emotional shoes of the gospel of peace and our relationships with other people. When Jesus sent out His disciples, He gave them the parameters by which they should preach the gospel. If people heard and received the message with joy, they were to stay and teach. But if God’s message was rejected, they had no further responsibility. They were free to leave, knowing they had done what Jesus had called them to do.
We, too, should take peace in knowing that even though people may reject the message of the love of God, that does not mean God has given up on them. Jesus’ love for them hasn’t changed. He will find another way.
God said in Matthew 5:9:
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
Be blessed, my Daughter, as you sow seeds of peace wherever you walk.
