My Daughter, Take My Hand, I Sent My Son Jesus Christ for You
1John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
John 3:16 Jesus said . . . For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Colossians 2:11,12 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Luke 15:7 Jesus said . . . I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
2Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Thank You, Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be my greatest gifts.
When we are given a gift, even before we open it, we respond with thanks. We feel special and appreciated. Then when we open it, we see the joy on the face of the person who gave us the gift. We are joyful in receiving because they are joyful in the giving.
When you think about all the gifts you have received from your Heavenly Father, you will realize the greatest of all His gifts is when He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, for you.
Jesus joyfully went to the cross and paid for your gift of salvation with His body and blood. You are joyful in the receiving because Jesus was joyful in the giving. Your response to this gift is your faith in Jesus.
When you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, your gift of faith enables you to cherish the depth of His love that made you His child.
Revelation 5:12,13 is a beautiful prayer of praise to Jesus for what He has given you my Daughters:
. . . "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
And to You, Father, I lift my hands to You in praise and wait for You to take my hand and never let go.
