My Daughter, Take My Hand: I Am Your Heavenly Father

For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

1Corinthians 8:5,6

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"   Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:6,7

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."   The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 8:14-17

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Ephesians 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Peter 1:3-6

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

Psalm 68: 5

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

Psalm 139:17,18

Thank You Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be with me as Your daughter.

You have shown us to be our Heavenly Father by providing for our past, our present and our future. You have shown us to be our Heavenly Father by always speaking words of truth and affirmation. You have shown us to be our Heavenly Father by being forever trustworthy.

Our Heavenly Father demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son Jesus Christ for us. Through Jesus Christ’ sacrifice on the cross our future has been provided for.  We can always come to the Father through His Son Jesus Christ.

Our Heavenly Father spoke words of affirmation to Jesus when He said, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Mark 1:11)   We are His child as well and He wants us to know that He is well pleased with us too.

Our Heavenly Father’s love is perfect. It will never change. Everything He says and does is forever trustworthy.

God is your Father so reach out your hand to Him. He will take your hand and never let go.

Let’s Pray!

n this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13
