My Daughter, Take My Hand, I Am Your Heavenly Father
1Corinthians 8:5,6 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Galatians 4:6,7 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
1Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Psalm 68:5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
Thank You, Heavenly Father
Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be with me as Your Daughter.
One of the greatest attributes an earthly father has is as a protecter of his daughter’s heart. Some fathers take this role seriously while some cannot. Many fathers let life circumstances; their past history and their own self-interests get in the way. Do not let the failures of an earthly father influence how you see your Heavenly Father.
Our Heavenly Father is perfect. The Bible says He can see your heart. Because of this, He can see your past, your present and your future all at one time. There is nothing that can escape His eyes.
This may be a comfort to you as you remember joyful memories, or it may bring you pain as you remember hurtful situations. I had painful past memories that kept coming to my mind. Do you have them too?
Our Heavenly Father sent His Son Jesus Christ for you. Jesus willingly took all your sins, the sins against you, and all your diseases on the cross and provided His forgiveness and healing. The Bible says He had joy as He went to the cross. Have you ever thought "how could that be?" He knew what His sacrifice would mean to Him, but He also knew what your salvation would mean to you.
I chose to let God’s perfect love cover my pain. I chose to follow what Jesus did for me by forgiving those who hurt me and confessing my sin. Do you want Him to do the same for you? The path to freedom starts with the Father, then believing in what Jesus provided for you and then being guided by the Holy Spirit.
You can do this too, my Daughter, because there is no greater love that will ever be offered to you and no greater love you will ever accept.

It is a powerful movie that explores the relationship three women had with their earthly fathers and how that relationship effected their self-esteem, their relationships with men and most importantly their relationship with the Heavenly Father.
If a father does not provide what a daughter needs to see herself as loved, valuable, or cherished, she may have what this film calls a father wound.
Personally, this film gave me the ability to see the things that were blocking my relationship with my perfect Heavenly Father and then created a place for me to release my father wound.
Our Heavenly Father wants that for you my Daughter, so lift your hand in praise to Him and tell Him how thankful you are for His love with the words from Psalm 139:17,18:
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for making me Your Beloved Daughter.
