Section 1 Introduction

I Am Your Heavenly Father

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, 

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Isaiah 41:10 

We are all born with an innate desire to experience the infinite love of our Creator God.  At times, we think people, possessions, experiences, or intellect will fulfill our desires, but they can’t. 

The desire to know God's love will only be satisfied when we experience God’s love personally. In this section, many of the names and attributes of God are revealed to help you experience Him more personally.  

I believe His most endearing name is Heavenly Father. 

Jesus Christ came to show us the Heavenly Father and to teach us that through Jesus we can know and trust our Heavenly Father for all that concerns us because He, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are One. And their love for us is unconditional. Because they are One, you will find that some of the verses in this section point to Jesus and the Holy Spirit as well as the Heavenly Father.

Jesus gave us the following simple, beautiful prayer to help us come into our Father’s presence with praise, worship, and thanksgiving. 

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13

God will extend His Hand to you, and when He does, He will wait while you place your hand in His.
