My Daughter, Take My Hand and Use My Gifts

1Peter 4:10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;….

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

1Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Jesus said in John 14:12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Colossians 3:23,24 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Thank You Heavenly Father

Your love, the love of Jesus Christ and the power of Your Holy Spirit will always be my most precious gifts.

If you quiet your heart and think about what the Lord has given you, the list would be endless. You would also add to that list every day.

Every gift from God comes directly from His heart of love. Not only did He know you before you were born, but He also made you in His image and placed inside of you an unending connection to Him.

As you grew, He kept revealing Himself to you in gentle ways. When it was time, God offered you his ultimate gift of eternal life. By grace through faith in Jesus Christ, you accepted.

Then because of the finished work of Christ, He gave you another gift, the gift of (Dunamis) power from Jesus’ Resurrection.

You did nothing to merit any of God’s gifts. They were all offered to you because of His great love for you.

Your part is to accept and use His gifts. When you do that, you recognize that they are His gifts of love to be used by you to bless yourself and others.

It is never good to compare your gifts to the gifts of other people. That can be an obstacle to your calling. The way out of comparison is to remember that your gifts were His choice uniquely designed just for you.

God has given you and will continue to give you every gift you will ever need my Daughter. Look at 2Corinthians 9:8 and see that your gifts are enough for who you are and what He has called you to do:

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
